Conceived as an experimental workshop open to the public to which no previous experience is required, this open course proposes an exercise on visual arts, particularly on drawing, based in the study of visual principles that emphasize invention. This course isn't exclusively directed to the formation of artists; instead, it aims to enhance artistic activities as a whole, through the use of several techniques, such as brush, pen and ink, watercolor, gouache, charcoal and pastel painting, color pencil drawing, woodcutting, monotype printmaking, etc.
One of the course's goals is the development of an aesthetic personal project, in individual or group classes, under the guidance of Jacqueline Aronis. Also included are sessions of observational, creative and life/figure drawing, as well as guided visits to temporary exhibitions, museums and institutional collections in São Paulo.
